METAL DRAWING COMPOUNDS ( MET-DRAW 015,022, 044, 066)

A very important segment of the metal working industry is metal forming .In this process the metal, instead of being cut or machined, is forced to flow to acquire the desired dimensions by the use of the suitable mechanical equipment. Metal forming process includes operations like pressing, stamping, deep drawing, wire drawing, and tube drawing and forging. During these operations considerable amount of heat and stress are generated. Our MET-DRAW grades are tailor made to satisfy the various requirements included in metal drawing / forging operations.

MET-DRAW 015
RELIABLE MET- Draw 015 is a stable, non-staining, refined petroleum oils blended with fatty oils to improve wetting characteristics, it has good cooling ability and is recommended for use in Aluminium wire drawing operation.

MET-DRAW 022
RELIABLE MET-DRAW 022 is a cream- coloured paste and is miscible with water and Mineral oil. It consists of fillers that impart film strength required for heavy draws for carbon/ alloy steel. It is most suitable fcr use as a coolant in wire/ tube drawing of steel and may also be used in pressing operations.

MET-DRAW 044
It is a non-staining, water-soluble cream-colored paste for "dry on" or emulsion application. It is manufactured with specially balanced mixture of soap and fat. It is specially suitable for use as an effective coolant in wire drawing operations. The recommended dilution ratio with water is between 1 to 5 percent depending upon the gauge of wire to be drawn. It is also found useful in deep drawing of automotive bodies and metal sheets.

MET-DRAW 066
It is dark coloured product consisting of a blend of refined high viscosity petroleum oil and a special additive to wishstand high temperatures encountered in the die forging operation. It is easily applied by a spray.
